The main activity of "Inter RAO Lietuva" is the electricity wholesale conducted with the countries in our region. The Company exports surplus electricity produced in Lithuania and imports energy in time of shortfall, "Inter RAO Lietuva" also trades electricity within the inner market and at auction. Such activity helps to balance Lithuania’s energy system and to ensure the effective operation of Lithuanian electricity producers.

 

Currently, business relations are most developed with the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, also with Belarus and Russia. The Company continues further establishment business activities within other markets of the European Union and neighbouring countries.

 

To implement its main objectives – the creation of value and business development – "Inter RAO Lietuva" has diversified its activities by executing the investment projects in the fields of energy infrastructure and real estate.
